So called illegal group of some Associations and Unions create an impression on their website that discussion are going on with them regarding promotion or 3rd PRC or other HR issues . They are just misguiding the employees . Only request from these leaders to Management for withdraw the notice under rule FR 17A nothing else.
Revival and Survival of BSNL is on top priority for the present government. it is also on the main agenda of new government. IIMA suggested different measures like financial support , implementation of 3rd PRC & others HR issues , VRS , allotment of 4G spectrum , reduction in retirement age , promotions etc for revival of BSNL . TOABSNL consulted its members throughout India and is of opinion that IIMA report must be implemented at the earliest for survival of BSNL . TOABSNL (BMS) communicate its viewpoint to government of India through this letter.

The department of telecom (DoT) has finally sought views on the allocation of the fourth generation or 4G airwaves to the two public sector telcos— Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) from the sector regulator which is planning to start consultation process soon.
Cash-strapped telecom player BSNL, which faced issues with salary payments last month, plans to hive off its fibre assets into a separate company, which is expected to have a valuation of Rs 10,000-15,000 crore. BSNL has about eight lakh route km of fibre infrastructure across India compared with Reliance Jio with 4.78 lakh route km (including 178,000 route km that it acquired from Reliance Communications) and Airtel’s 2.46 lakh route km and Vodafone Idea’s 1.56 lakh km, according to estimates. The new entrant Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea already have announced plans to hive off their fibre assets into separate entities.
